Proof-Reading
Proof-reading consists of checking the text carefully for errors and ensuring the format is uniform. This is not to be
confused with proofing, which applies to any documents destined for print.
Proof-reading is often misunderstood as a sub-service that goes hand-in-hand with translation. Infact, it is not.
Proof-reading is an optional service. We recommend, as most clients require, that a thorough review of translated material should always be carried out. Proof-reading review is carried out by a second professional
and accredited translator who checks spelling, punctuation, grammar, syntax, tone, consistency, and usage in the target language.
It is carried out by a second translator because another set of eyes can frequently catch what a first set may not have. The
translator compares the translation to the original source language document to insure accuracy and to ensure that the style of the translation is consistent with that of the source language.
Our professional and accredited translators can provide accurate and rapid turnaround proof-reading service.
